Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VritantAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VritantAI provides a SaaS platform for e-commerce brands consisting of: (a) Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) tooling including structured data auditing, LLM citation benchmarking, brand sentiment monitoring, and hallucination detection; and (b) Agentic shopping infrastructure including a catalog-grounded storefront widget, WhatsApp Commerce channel, and conversation intelligence analytics.
3. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. API keys are shown in plaintext only at creation; VritantAI stores only the hashed value. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at business@vritantai.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to process data you do not have rights to; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models or data pipelines; (c) use the Service to generate content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or violates any applicable law; (d) exceed usage limits in a manner designed to circumvent billing; (e) use automated means to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service beyond what is provided via the documented API; (f) use the WhatsApp channel to send unsolicited messages, spam, or content that violates Meta's Messaging Policy or WhatsApp Business Policy; (g) use the Meta Embedded Signup integration to access WhatsApp Business Accounts you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
5. Meta Platform Terms
The WhatsApp Commerce feature is built on the WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta Embedded Signup. By using this feature, you agree to comply with Meta's Platform Terms (developers.facebook.com/terms), Meta's Business Tools Terms, and WhatsApp's Business Policy. VritantAI acts as a Meta Tech Provider; your WhatsApp Business Account remains under your ownership and control. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the WhatsApp channel complies with applicable messaging laws, including obtaining appropriate consent from end users before messaging them. VritantAI may suspend WhatsApp channel access if Meta restricts or terminates the underlying API access.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"), including your product catalog, storefront URLs, and conversation logs. By submitting Customer Data, you grant VritantAI a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. We do not use Customer Data to train AI models or share it with third parties except as required to deliver the Service (e.g., LLM API calls for benchmark queries). See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
7. Multi-Tenancy and Data Isolation
The Service is multi-tenant. All Customer Data is isolated per tenant using PostgreSQL Row-Level Security. VritantAI employs commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent cross-tenant data access. No warranty of perfect isolation is made; you should treat the Service as appropriate for business-confidential but not regulated-secret data without additional controls.
8. Billing, Refunds, and Cancellation
Billing is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record for subscription billing and Razorpay as payment processor for native-checkout orders in India. Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in advance. Convert plans are priced in INR and Discover plans are priced in USD. The payment processor's own terms apply to payment processing.
Free trial. New accounts include a free trial. The length of your free trial is shown when you sign up and in your account before any charge. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins at the end of the trial on the plan you selected.
Overage and prepaid credit. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI queries. Beyond that allowance, queries are served only against prepaid credit you purchase in advance at the published per-query rate for your plan. Credit is drawn down as queries are served, and you may set an optional per-period spend limit to cap your overage (a suitable default is one times your effective monthly rate, meaning the amount you actually pay each month, which on annual billing is your discounted rate). No overage is ever charged automatically: if you hold no prepaid credit, or it is exhausted, your agent degrades to a limited-availability response rather than incurring any charge. If you enable auto-recharge, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method to refill your credit when your balance falls below the threshold you set, and you may disable auto-recharge at any time. By selecting and paying for a plan you consent to this metering, to the published per-query overage rate, and to any auto-recharge you enable. We notify you as your balance runs low and when it is exhausted. Prepaid credit is non-refundable and does not expire.
Changes and cancellation. You may upgrade at any time, effective immediately and prorated. You may downgrade or cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing cycle, after which no further subscription charges are made. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund a billing period already begun.
Refunds. Aside from the free trial above, and except where a refund is required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun, and prepaid overage credit is non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact business@vritantai.com and we will investigate promptly.
9. Intellectual Property
VritantAI and its licensors own all rights to the Service, including software, models, documentation, and branding. You own your Customer Data. The Service may generate output (GEO patches, audit reports, agent responses) based on your data; you own that output subject to any third-party model licence terms. Feedback you provide about the Service may be used by VritantAI without restriction.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. VRITANTAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT LLM OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE. GEO SCORES AND CITATION BENCHMARKS ARE ESTIMATES BASED ON AVAILABLE DATA AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS GUARANTEES OF AI VISIBILITY OUTCOMES.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VRITANTAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL VRITANTAI BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement on 30 days' written notice. VritantAI may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, including non-payment or violation of the Acceptable Use policy. Upon termination, you may request an export of your Customer Data within 30 days; after that period, data may be deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Bengaluru, India, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
VritantAI may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Contact
